Project Address 44 White Street Comments I write to oppose the inclusion of "country club" as an eligible use for the RR district. Saratoga National Golf Course is an example of how a reason- able concept can be abused. In their original application they asked for a restaurant implying that it would be a modest addition. Instead they built the Prime Restaurant. They said they would limit events to the capacity of their approved parking with the exception of three larger events each year. They used the poorly crafted language of this to cir- cumvent that commitment. They routinely exceed the approved parking on a regular basis. They promised to erect two nature trails. They created one real trail. The other, for all intents and purposes, does not exist. The vague definitions of what is allowed to be constructed and done on a country club is too vague. It invites even worse ex- cesses than we saw with Saratoga National. Attach Photo (optional) Field not completed. Email not displaying correctly?View it in your browser.
