3. Whether the variance is substantial. The eequested variance is nat substzntial for the Foklowing reasons:
We believe the requested variances are not substantial far the following reasons. We feel the variance ot moving the pool closer
to the adiacent lot will not affect our neiqhbors neqativey as the adacent lot is nwned by Che us,the applicant.
We believe the variancvf increasing the accessary building allowance fram t0%to 14.5%wiil not be a detriment nor seem
substancial to treighborhood as the increase is the resuit of adding an inground pool not an above ground visible building
struckure.
4. Whether the variartte will have adverse physical or environmental effects on neigh6orhocd or district. The requested variarce will not
have an adverse physical ar environmental effect on the neighborhood or district for che following reasans:
Weo not believe either of requested variances will cause adverse pkoysical or environmental effects on the neighborhood or
district We believe these requests for chanqe althauqh autside ot current code are ciose enouqht to current code to allow no _
negatiWe changes and allow far ttre current quality of the environment and neighborhood to continue unchanged.
5. 1Nhecher the alleged difficutty was self-created{although this does nat necessarily predude the granting of an area variance).Explain
whether the alleged difficufry was ar was no[self-created:
We beEieve the alleged difficulty needing a variance of the IocatEan for the pool is not se11-created. We are limited by the size of
the lot and the locatiors and demensions of the hause and qaraqe strucEures that were present on the lot at the time of purchase
in 2000. We have put alot of Eime andffort into trying to figure how a poo{would besi fit. We believe this to be the besf opiion.
We appreciate your consideration of our variance application and thank you far your time reuiewing it.
