In the Notice of Decision from the DRC relative to the Subject Project, #20191221, it is
suggested that the entrance shed/mechanical room be reduced in size or be removed from
the garage buuilding.
On the attached drawings of the Original North and East Garage Elevations and of the
Revised North and East Garage Elevations, and the photograph of the revised model, you
can see the proposed size reduction of the revised entrance structure. In the original
design it was about thirteen feet wide, east to west. In the revised design it is half that
dimension.
I don't want to remove it from the garage bulding because I believe it makes a statement
as to the location of the pedestrian entrance, and to its relationship to the location of the
entrance to the house, which is in a direct line to the north. That relationship is better
stated by a three dimensional piece as opposed to just a grade level walkway.
It is my understanding that this proposed revision to the Subject Project shall be handled
as an Administrative Action.
