NOTICE OF DECISION
In the matter of the application

involving Architectural review of a roof replacement on an existing structure within the Neighborhood Center (NC)
District, tax parcel #165.44-2-26, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance
Article 240-13.9 Architectural Review Applicability and Approval Standards, the Design Review Board issues the
following decision on August 5, 2026:
Approve the plans with the following rationale and conditions:
Due to the location of the property along a commercial/highway corridor, the lack of traditional neighborhood
content and character, the limited visibility from the arterial, and the absence of other architectural
characteristics, the proposed change is appropriate. The applicant is to submit the presentation materials from
the meeting for the file.

motion to approve made by K Cavotta, seconded by K D’Andrea passed 5-0
In favor: T Ehinger, K Cavotta, K D’Andrea, L DiCarlo, G Wood
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit has been issued and
actual work begun.
As a result of this decision, the applicant:
may proceed with the proposed project as approved
