Two prior excavations support this. On May 29, 2025, we dug to approximately 10’ below grade for utility shutoffs in the sidewalks on both Caroline Street and Pavilion Place and did not find any water. Additionally, on June 19, 2026 multiple test holes were dug throughout the site, and we did not hit any water until 12’ 6” below the grade on Caroline Street. The most recent excavation was conducted after nearly 1.5” of rainfall on June 18, 2026 and over 2” of rain on June 15, 2026. We do not anticipate groundwater to be a major issue and plan to contain all the water using a localized dewatering system. Local sumps will be dug in the excavated hole, and water will be redirected to them via drainage trenches and/or sump pump. Below are images from both excavations. Sincerely, Cronan Dempsey CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT Utility Excavation 05/29/2025: - No water was found at a depth of 10’ below grade on Caroline Street nor 10’ below the sidewalk on Pavilion Pl; roughly 12’ below the Caroline St grade factoring in the slope of Pavilion - The water in the picture is from the water pipes after they were cut and is not groundwater. CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT Utility Excavation 05/29/2025 (cont.): Exploratory Excavation 06/19/2026: CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT - The laser was set with the sidewalk height on Caroline Street and water was not encountered until 12’ 6” as depicted above
