Why Repairs Alone Are Not Enough
We have already performed repair work in an effort to stop
the water intrusion. However, due to the extensive and
widespread damage throughout the roofing system, it has
not been possible to fully stop the leaks.
Damage is present in multiple areas across the roof.
The deterioration affects the roof surface, flashing areas, and
related components.
Additional spot repairs would only provide a temporary
solution.
The existing slate roof has reached the end of its serviceable
life.
A complete roof replacement is the most reliable long-term
solution.

Remove and dispose of the existing slate roofing system.
Remove existing underlayment and roofing accessories.
Inspect roof decking and replace damaged plywood as needed.
Install GAF Ice & Water Shield, GAF Synthetic Underlayment, drip edge, GAF Starter Shingles, GAF Architectural
Shingles, GAF Ridge Vent, GAF Ridge Cap Shingles, pipe boots, flashing, and all required accessories.
Complete cleanup and magnetic nail sweep.
Provide a complete, reliable GAF roofing system built to protect the property long -term.
