My name is Dino Papoutsis I am semi retired property owner married with children and I have been a
resident of Port Washington NY since 2017
I purchased the property in 11/20 from Mr Tom Roohan with intention to provide income for my
retirement
I have been a Full Time Neighbor and part time resident ever since 2020
I have a small apartment in the back which I kept for myself and family and have been visiting and
staying Saratoga once a month since 2021
Ever since former tenant vacated premises
I have had numerous inquiries and sent out lease only to be faced with the same problem
I came to terms with a very qualified tenant
But they wanted a termination agreement should they be denied the use of Patio
As you can see the use and access to the patio plays a significant role in my ability to rent premises as
in the eyes of the public they have become Synonymous
I did not intend to open a bar at my age
But bc of previous misuse and total disregard by Former Tenant to implement Supervision and Control
policies I was afraid that committee would be hesitant to grant approval
Therefore I took the responsibility myself to insure that use and access to the public space a very
significant right associated with my property be done as specified by Law so as to set a template that
future tenants will feel confident to receive approval from committee
If I could make a suggestion
I believe tonight workshop committee is meeting if possible please come by and do onsite inspection
and I would appreciate any feedback or guidance to establish a wonderful indoor and outdoor
hospitality experience which is to benefit the greater good for all
