Dear Kevin Franke:
Thank you for continuing to consult with the Division for Historic Preservation of the Office of Parks,
Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP). We have reviewed the submitted materials in
accordance with the New York State Historic Preservation Act of 1980 (section 14.09 of the New York
Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation Law). These comments are those of the Division for
Historic Preservation and relate only to Historic/Cultural resources.
We have reviewed the project site plans and architectural plans and renderings provided in response to
our previous request for information. As noted, the project is adjacent to the historic First Baptist
Church, and the State and National Register listed Broadway Historic District.
Based on this review it appears that the proposed project will not adversely impact historic resources.
In addition, there are no archaeological concerns associated with this project. Please note that our
review does not preclude any local historic preservation or other local design review.
