A scratch coat of mortar was applied on the top of that and the walls are ready to finish. The owner proposes to apply Addirondack natural stone to finish the basement entry. It is a natural stone native to this area. It is mined in Ft. Anne, NY and can be seen on many buildings in the city. The stone walls would be capped in brownstone. The north wall has an existing concrete cap that would be covered with a brownstone slab.
