RE: 832 North Broadway – Demolition & New Construction
Dear Tamie:
The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation reviewed the plans for the demolition of the
existing structure and new construction at 832 North Broadway.
The existing ranch style residence, constructed circa 1960s, is identified as a non-
contributing building to the Broadway Historic District listed on the National Register of
Historic Places. It does not have any architectural or historical significance. As previously
stated in a letter dated February 16, 2022, the Foundation does not object to its demolition
and supports the redevelopment of the lot.
The Foundation determined that the proposed design and placement of the house and
garage are in keeping with the character of North Broadway. It looks forward to reviewing
the window, door, and material specifications once they are submitted.
Thank you in advance for your thoughtful consideration.
Sincerely,
C. Christopher Armer Samantha Bosshart
