I am President of the Park Place Condominiums HOA.
The residents of the Park Place Condominiums are very interested and concerned about the
proposed construction of a building of this magnitude across the street from our building. A building of
this size
with underground parking will cause a number of issues including intrusion of the water table
and an impact on underground water flows which may have a deleterious effect causing damage to
Broadway
and adjacent properties. A redirection of water flow may also have a significant impact on water
flow through Congress Park as well with a resultant backup of water in the park and adjacent structures.
There are a multitude of other issues including traffic, parking, school etc. which need to be
considered as well with a building of this size. The residents of Park Place will be following with interest
the
the discussions and decisions being made regarding this proposal.
