NOTICE OF DECISION
In the matter of the application

223 West Ave. Pitney Meadows Exterior Modifications

involving Architectural review of exterior modifications to an existing structure within the Pitney Meadows PUD, tax
parcel # 178.-1-49.1, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance
Article 240-13.9 Architectural Review Applicability and Approval Standards, the Design Review Board issues the
following decision on June 3, 2026:
Approve the plans with the following conditions:
Windows on south and east (driveway and West Ave) façade are to be repaired and restored; when
necessary, windows from other facades can be moved to the south and east facades. Windows on
north and west may be replaced. Applicant to salvage/donate/retain on site any window that is
removed. The porch column details are to be submitted for Administrative Approval
