Comments I do not oppose the demolition of the existing structure but do
oppose the construction of anything other than a single family
residential dwelling. The character of historic North Broadway

will be destroyed if a condo is allowed to be constructed. Even
if the building is made to look like a single family dwelling it will
be the foot in the door for other condo projects to be
constructed along that historic street. However, local tax
assessment laws—particularly in New York—can create
inequities where condos pay less than their fair share, shifting
the burden onto other taxpayers.
