The current total floor area is approximately 1,542 square feet, while the proposed expansion, which includes a new addition and a second story, will increase the total floor area to 3,133 square feet. This results in a net increase of 1,591 square feet, exceeding 50% of the original total sf floor area. An addition issued a building permit in 1987 was extended, however it was not CO. Property owner will need to resolve this as part of the new bldg permit. A building permit issued in 1987 was extended, but it did not receive a Certificate of Occupancy (CO). The property owner must address this issue as part of the new building permit application. Older permit file details can be found in Mayor's network drive under scanned building permits. A final survey is required to verify zoning complaince. The shed seems to be excluded from the building coverage calculations. However, it is unlikely to surpass the maximum allowable percentage for building coverage, and it should be included in the final survey.
