NY . 12866 518 . 322 . 1386 May 8, 2026 Julia Destino, Senior Planner City of Saratoga Springs Planning Department 474 Broadway Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 Re: 624 North Broadway – Request for Demolition Approval Dear Ms. Destino, We are seeking approval from the Design Review Board (DRB) to demolish the Unitarian Universalist Church located at 624 North Broadway as part of a proposed redevelopment project consisting of a two-story, four-unit condominium building. As part of a previous, unrelated application, the DRB determined on June 25, 2025, that the existing structure does not posses architectural and/or historical significance contributing to the historic fabric and resources of the City of Saratoga Springs. Based upon that determination, the Board granted demolition approval on July 30, 2025. Through this application, we are seeking the same approvals previously granted. We do not believe the property or the existing structure has changed in any material way over the past year that would warrant a different determination by the Board. We look forward to present our project to the Board at the next available meeting.
