NOTICE OF DECISION
In the matter of the application

involving Architectural review of exterior modifications to an existing structure within the Urban Residential -3 (UR-3) District, tax
parcel # 165.74-2-13, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance Article 240 -
13.9 Architectural Review Applicability and Approval Standards, the Design Review Board issues the following decision on April
22, 2026:
Approve the plans with the following conditions:
1. Applicant to submit new window plan for the front of the structure for Administrative Approval after
an on-site evaluation conducted by Chris Bennett
2. Cement board siding is allowed on the west side of the first floor only
3. Cement board shall be smooth
4. Shingle repair on the second story shall include a flare at the bottom
5. The wood porch lattice shall be square, not diagonal

Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit has been issued and
actual work begun.
