In the matter of the application

involving Historic review of construction of an outdoor kitchen, dining space, and patio, and fence replacement within the Urban
Residential 3 (UR-3) District, tax parcel # 165.68-2-51.1, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance Article 240 -
13.9 Historic Review Applicability and Approval Standards, the Design Review Board issues the following decision on April 22,
2026:
Approve the plans with the following conditions:
Removal of the historic iron fence in the front is not approved; applicant to return with alternate plan
for the iron fence or keep in place.
Record of vote:
motion to approve made by K Cavotta, seconded by C Bennett passed 6-0
In favor: T Ehinger, CBennett, LDiCarlo, JGritsavage, K Cavotta, G Wood
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit has been issued and
actual work begun.
As a result of this decision, the applicant:
may proceed with the proposed project as approved
