Re: HOA Support for Variance — Generator Installation at 19 Aurora Avenue
Dear Sir or Madam,
On behalf of the Oak Ridge Homeowners Association Board, we write to express our full support for
the requested variance associated with the proposed generator installation at 19 Aurora Avenue.
The Board has reviewed the request and finds the proposed installation to be reasonable and
appropriate within the context of the community. Given that intermittent power outages are a known
occurrence in the neighborhood, standby generators have become an increasingly necessary and
practical feature for homeowners.
The proposed generator is consistent with neighborhood standards and typical residential accessory
uses within Oak Ridge. The Board does not believe the installation will create any adverse impact on
adjacent properties or the character of the community.
Accordingly, the Oak Ridge HOA Board supports the variance request and respectfully asks that it
be given favorable consideration.
Please feel free to contact the Association should you require any additional information.
Sincerely,
Robert Hayes
