Hi Julia –
Thank you for reaching out.
The color rendering is correct in that there will be horizontal siding on the entire lower floor.
The entry way and the upper gables will now be LP Smart Side Board & Batten.
The Owner has also requested to use Andersen A Series windows (which the DRB approved for the
adjacent property at 77 South Franklin).
The Owner has also requested a single mullion in the top sash of the DH windows.
I will follow up with the material specs.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions or if the DRB has any issues that arise during their
workshop.

Hey Tonya,
I'm reviewing this and do have a quick question - the latest elevation shows vertical siding on
the front - on the second-floor gable and on the first floor, horizontal siding between the gables
and on the garage. Horizontal siding on all of the other elevations. But the rendering has
horizontal siding on part of the first floor of the front.
Please confirm which is correct so I can let the Board know during the workshop.

Hi Mark & Julia –
Attached are revisions to the Oravec residence at 3 Cobb Alley for the DRB review.
We simplified the front of the house by removing the previously proposed gable dormer over the garage and
added a shed dormer for consistency with the house under construction at 77 South Franklin, directly to the right
of this project site. We believe this modification reduces the mass of the building as it also reduces the costs for
the owners.
A rough front rendering has also been included to help the DRB visualize the bump outs.
We did not spend too much time on placement of the rendering or finish details in the rendering so as to again,
be conscious about costs to our clients…
We look forward to additional discussion with the DRB on April 22.
Please let me know if they have any questions or need additional information prior to the meeting.
