Please take care when clicking links or opening attachments. When in doubt, contact IT. Good Morning Julia, Thank you for taking the time to review! It seems that the renderings may be conveying some incorrect information. We only use them for conceptual purposes only, as they do not provide a 100% accurate representation of what we are proposing. They provide a good visual and a general understanding, but the way the software is run always changes a few things here and there. The layout plan and the engineering drawings show our exact intent. I’ve responded to your questions below: 1. The wrought iron fence is original to the house, so it does date back to at least 1900. We are designing for a more welcoming feeling at the front of the house, and the fencing does not help us achieve our goal in this regard. It also creates a maintenance issue for the new plantings we are proposing, as it will be extremely difficult to keep the plants on the other side of this fence in good health. 2. We are not proposing any changes to the front steps, front concrete walk, or front slate walk. Those are to remain as-is and are all in good condition. This could be a hiccup within the renderings. 3. We are not proposing any changes to the driveway materials, only minor changes to the shape (garbage area, entry to backyard). The driveway and parking area is a simple pea stone surface with a flush-set granite cobblestone border. I have put together a materials list for the structure, which is attached for your reference. The engineering drawings state the locations for each of the items listed and provide much more detail on the exact implementation of each. 4. We are not proposing to change the light fixtures, another rendering hiccup! Please let me know if there is anything else that you need. Thanks again, and looking forward to presenting Wednesday evening! The wrought iron fence at the front may be a historic fence, and they may request more information about the age of it and/or have conditions regarding the removal of the fence. 4/17/26, 9:56 AM Inbox - Julia Destino - Outlook https://outlook.cloud.microsoft/mail/inbox/id/AAkALgAAAAAAHYQDEapmEc2byACqAC%2FEWg0AxlDIuR%2FRMEO89B%2FMS6nl%2BQAB0nFdU…1/5 2 Commerce Park Drive, Wilton, NY 12831 Phone (518) 691-0429 Fax (518) 871-1337 www.redbudla.com Hart Residence 108 Circular Street Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 Proposed Covered Living Space – Materials List (Further detail within attached engineering drawings) Footings: - 20”D x 4’D concrete piers Posts: - 8” x 8” pressure treated Post/Column Wraps: - 12”D HB&G round, fluted, non-tapered PermaCast column w/ Tuscan style capitals & bases (primed and painted) Decorative Column Pedestals: - Custom ¾” A/C plywood w/ cedar trim per plans (primed and painted) - 2 x 4 pressure treated interior framing Beams: - 3-Ply 1.75” x 18” 2.0E Microlam LVL drop-down header w/ 1x cedar finish (primed and painted) - Custom cedar trim (primed and painted) - Wood dentil blocks and molding per plans (primed and painted) Roof Structure: - 2 x 10 common rafters spf #2 @ 16” o.c.
