RESOLUTION OF SPECIAL USE PERMIT
IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF
NAME: Union Gables Bed & Breakfast
ADDRESS: 55 Union Avenue
Saratoga Springs, New York 12866
Involving the premises, No. 55 Union Avenue, in the City of Saratoga Springs, being
section 165.76, block 1, lots 12.1 and 12.2 on the assessment map 'in the said City, inside
district.
WHEREAS, the applicant having applied for a special use permit for special events
associated with a bed and breakfast facility under the Zoning Ordinance of said City as
amended, and due public hearing notice having been duly given of a hearing on said
application held on the 27`h day of July 1999.
WHEREAS, after due consideration, the Board makes the following resolution:
The Board grants a permanent special use permit for special events associated
with the bed & breakfast facility with the following conditions:
l . Up to 24 public gathering functions, such as weddings/receptions/showers,
business meetings, catered events, etc, may be held at this facility per year.
The permitted public gathering functions shall be as follows: 1) one public
tour. with up to 300 persons; 2) three events with up to 150 persons per
event; and, 3) 20 events with up to 75 persons per event.
2. The public gathering functions shall not occur on the premises after 11:00
PM daily or before 1:00 PM on Sundays. No outdoor music shall occur
after 10:00 PM daily.
3. A record of the dates, time and attendance of all events pursuant to this
special use permit shall be maintained and submitted to the Building
Inspector within ten days following the close of each calendar year.
4. This special use permit shall not become effective until all building and
fire safety code requirements for such events have been approved by the
Building Inspector.

Involving the premises, No. 55 union Avenue , in the
City of Saratoga Springs, being Section 165.76 , Block 1 ,
Lot 12.2 on the Assessment Map of said City,Inside District
WHEREAS, The appellant having applied for a Special Use Permit for
bed and breakfast use under the Zoning Ordinance of said
City as amended, and due public notice having been duly given of a
hearing on said application held on the 2 day of
October, �! 19 91
WHEREAS; after due consideration, the Board makes the following
resolution:
The Board grants -a permanent.special use permit for a ten room bed and
breakfast use with the conditi6n that the lot designated as tax parcel
165.76-1-12.1 on the current tax maps shall be merged with applicant`s
parcel to -form one single lot.
