In the matter of the request for administrative action relating to application

to approve the installation of roof mounted bathroom vents at the rear of the structure.
The Chairperson of the Design Review Board finds that, in accordance with Section 8.3 of the Rules and
Regulations of the Design Review Board, the requested action is not substantive in nature and is not
contrary to the intent of the original Board decision. Therefore, the request for administrative action, as
described above, is approved.

Dear Julia and members of the Design Review Board,
We are submitting specifications for the exhaust fan that will be located coming out of the roof. These will be painted
black to blend in with the roof shingles.
We will also have a 3” soil line extending out the roof as well that will also be painted black.
The attached image indicates where they are proposed to be located.
This is a minor request, and we would appreciate it if you could place this on the consent agenda.

The building dept instructed the applicant to reach out to us regarding a bathroom vent on
the rear of the property at 168 East Ave. We recently approved a dryer vent that was
installed on the Lake Ave elevation (but was behind some bushes). The bathroom vents are
on the rear elevation.

Would you be comfortable approving this administratively or do you want me to have them
on an agenda?
