In the matter of the application

involving Historic Review of demo/reconstruction of front porch within the Urban Residential-3
district, tax parcel #166.61-1-13 within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Commission classifies this request as
a SEQR Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review.
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the City Zoning
Ordinance Article 240-7.4 Historic Review, the Design Review Commission issues the following
decision on December 11, 2019:
Approve as submitted with the following conditions:
Wood columns are to be used. Floor deck boards to run in the historically
appropriate direction (perpendicular to the front façade).
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any
necessary building permit has been issued and actual work begun.
