In the matter of the application

Architectural review of exterior modifications to an existing structure within the Urban Residential-3 (UR-3) District, tax
parcel #165.50-1-47, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance
Article 240-13.9 Architectural Review Applicability and Approval Standards, the Design Review Board issues the
following decision on March 11, 2026:
Deny the plans for the following reasons:
The applicant has not shown sufficient evidence of deterioration of the existing wood siding to be
replaced with the proposed siding.
Record of vote:
motion to deny made by K Cavotta, seconded by C Bennett passed 5-1
In favor: CBennett, LDiCarlo, RDuBoff, JGritsavage, G Wood
Opposed: KCavotta
As a result of this decision, the applicant:
may NOT proceed with the proposed project as approved
