Re: 168 East Avenue
Attn: Mark Graham and Tami Ehinger
Dear Tami,
We are working on an interior renovation to 168 East Avenue. (located on the corner of East Avenue and
Lake Avenue). There are no significant exterior modifications proposed at this time, however, the floor
plans do propose a new laundry room/dryer. The assistant building inspector (Rober Kocis) has
requested that we seek approval for a dryer vent prior to issuing a building permit.
We are looking at locating this dryer vent on the Lake Avenue side. This will not be visible due to the
location and existing vegetation. (see photo below)
We have included the images of the property and the floor plan and elevation which indicates the location
of the proposed dryer vent on the South elevation.
We request to be placed on the next available meeting or, if possible, for this to be approved
administratively due to the minor nature of this request.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Respectfully submitted

Re: 168 Lake Avenue
Dear Julia and members of the Design Review Board,
With regards to your request on the dryer vent, the Contractor has every intention to paint the exterior so that it will
blend with the siding.
Attached is the specifications for the dryer vent that we are planning to use.
This is a minor request, and we would appreciate it if you could place this on the consent agenda.
Best Regards,
Susan L. Davis, LEED – Green Associate RA (NY and Ct)

Lasting Beauty
Homes are built to last a lifetime. It's a shame when plastic vents fade and crack.
Lightweight metal gets crushed in no time. DryerWallVents are built tough in the USA of
powder coated Galvalume steel. The video introduction at right is a good start for
learning more about how the new DryerWallVent is built for the long haul, and how clean
lines, a smooth finish and a low profile deliver on the promise that "Venting Never
Looked So Good."
PRO TIP: For a consistent, beautiful facade across all vent terminations, be sure to visit

Advanced Features
Serious performance comes from exceptional features delivering benefits in longevity,
aesthetics, efficiency and ease of install. It all starts with a deep draw manufacturing
process. This type of construction forces Galvalume steel into tight fitting form. Then it is
powder coated with PPG Envirocron for added weather resistance and visual appeal. To

magnets and secondary backing plate, be sure to visit Wall Vent Intro and
