In reviewing the amended plans for the two proposed commercial buildings, I see that Stewart’s has changed some design elements to meet suggestions from the Design Review Commission. 2/6/26, 8:37 AM Inbox - Mark Graham - Outlook https://outlook.office365.com/mail/inbox/id/AAQkAGIxYTcxODdiLTE4ZmUtNDdlMy05MTNlLTA4ZjY5NTFhMDAzMQAQAAcHeuH1i9FGtF%2FMcM0i4…1/2 I still do not see any fence planned for the northern border of this project. We again appeal to the DRB to consider requiring an 8 foot stockade fence along the boundary between the non-residential district, and residential district abutting to the north, behind the proposed trash bins to assist in protecting the environment of that conservation easement, and to ease noise. We also ask the DRB to require a final clean up of the trash in that lot completed by Stewart’s Corp during or immediately after their construction project. This project has been the source of 4 years of anxiety and frustration to us. The final betrayals were the loss to an appeals court that allowed Stewart’s to expand the commercial property 100 feet to the North into residentially zoned parcels and the ZBA final ruling which allowed a 100% variance for the gas station. We need to see that fence drawn in on the plans, verbal assurance is not enough for us. In my previous public comment letter, dated 1/7/2026, I believe I have given valid reasons for a fence.
