Re: Project #20260067 - 16 Marion Sub division extension
We live immediately next door to this subdivision, and are supportive of the overall subdivision plan. We do not object
to allowing more time to complete the work.
We do, however, want to make sure we fully understand what “complete” means, and have a few questions and
concerns.
1. Area to the left of the duplex on Ave A - Driveway adjacent to our driveway.
- As noted on the survey, the existing asphalt driveway abuts the property line at the road.
- Currently there is no curb or sidewalk in the space between the 2 paved driveways, ours and
theirs
- The plans show the installation of curb and sidewalk beyond the property line.
- We do not want concrete sidewalk or curb to the left side of the driveway, which would be on/at
our property, and be inconsistent with the rest of our frontage.
Fig 1. Driveway detail
Fig 2. Lot 2 - foundation from demolished 1 story portion
The above ground 1 story structure has already been removed. But all or portions of the foundation / slab remain.
Is complete removal of the foundation / slab required to complete the subdivision?
Fig 3. 2 story portion of house remaining
The current state of the 2 story portion is shown in these photos.
We understand the winter / weather related delays for completing the work, but do not want this to remain in the
current state with tyvek/unfinished.
What work is required to call this complete?
