In the matter of the application

involving Architectural review of equipment installation on an existing structure within the Urban Residential-3 (UR-3)
District, tax parcel #165.45-4-21, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance
Article 240-13.9 Architectural Review Applicability and Approval Standards, the Design Review Board issues the
following decision on January 28, 2026:

Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit has been
issued and actual work begun.

Our existing hood from 1965 has an internal fan that exhausts outside
through the louvers on the East Transept's north wall. Modern
replacements have external blowers that are mounted outside. We
would like to install it near the existing vent through the brick church wall.

metal finish. It is ~56” tall and sits
on a ~37” by ~51” base.
We will plant boxwoods around the
cement apron to block sight lines
from both Lake Avenue and Nelson
Avenue.
