We understand the approval with conditions: Trash on the street huge concern, and has been since we moved in a year ago. Widening the sidewalk is beyond an esthetics concern, its public safety. To not comfortably allow two way passage on the sidewalk, as in front of the Baptist Church presents danger of pedestrian spill over into the street. Currently, Washington Street has become extremely dangerous, as a result of two way tractor trailer traffic, made worse by parking on both sides 1/27/26, 8:24 AM Inbox - Mark Graham - Outlook https://outlook.office365.com/mail/inbox/id/AAQkAGIxYTcxODdiLTE4ZmUtNDdlMy05MTNlLTA4ZjY5NTFhMDAzMQAQACSWHSeho%2F1KjjvO3zdpM…1/2 of the street. Our apartment and patio faces Washington Street and I has witnessed examples of this terrible situation every day. Also, since we face a parking lot, we aren't thrilled with storm grates installed in our only green space outside of the Residences. We are referring to the existing storm grates outside of UPH, hopefully, pavers will work. I'm not an architect, but we are good neighbors of UPH. My wish would be to get a variance to move the entire project back, which would appear to make the pool smaller, but that should not matter at all. This way the UPH impact would be less, and the safety issues with the sidewalk would be eliminated. Thank you Attach Photo (optional)Field not completed. Email not displaying correctly?
