In the matter of the application

involving Consideration of deferral of Lead Agency status to the Planning Board for a proposed mixed-use development
including a hotel, multi-family residential, and retail in the Gateway Commercial - Rural (GC-R) district, tax parcel #178.-
2-17.11, 178.-2-17.12, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type I Action
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance
Article 240-13.9 Architectural Review Applicability and Approval Standards, the Design Review Board issues the
following decision on January 14, 2026:
Approve the deferral of Lead Agency status to the Planning Board
Record of vote:
motion to approve made by R DuBoff, seconded by L DiCarlo passed 6-0
In favor: CBennett, LDiCarlo, RDuBoff, JGritsavage, KCavotta, G Wood
As a result of this decision, the applicant:
may proceed with the proposed project as approved
