I like the structure that Water's Edge/Woodlands has. They have an on site manager with an https://m.saratoga-springs.org/h/printmessage?id=94580&tz=America/New_York 112 11/6/2019 Zimbra office. The addition of maintenance free houses seems to necessitate this for us in terms of managing landscaping, collecting monthly dues. I don't think this is something a volunteer board member can handle. This person may or may not also help manage the rest of the common areas for the HOA. It would also be nice to have a meeting place for an expanded board. We are currently 5 people and meet at each other's houses quarterly. This becomes a little unwieldy if you add 2 more people from the new houses. We also pay to rent space for our annual meetings. I have proposed reshuffling things with the current layout to allow for a clubhouse in the lot 90 area. If it won't fit there we could add something in a common space in the neighborhood. One of our residents suggested cutting it in to the hill in front of the Overlook area. Parking would be in front and current views would not be obstructed. In addition it would be nice to put dock spaces down there as was in the original plans, say 30 spots. I don't think it is too much to ask for as an addition/renovation is being made to Water's Edge common areas as part of the Spencer's Landing development. Right now we are just getting more houses that will be difficult to integrate in. We will get dues from 24 new houses but that won't cut it if we want to add something expensive like a clubhouse on our own. Attach Photo (optional) Field not completed.
