RE: 24 Fifth Avenue – Carriage House Exterior Alterations
Dear Tamie,
The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation reviewed the most recent submission to
make exterior alterations to the garage at 24 Fifth Avenue.
The Foundation is pleased that the applicant will not enlarge the hay loft opening and will
retain the hay loft door. No additional information was provided to indicate that the two
windows that were proposed to be replaced were beyond repair. Based on the information
received thus far, it appears that the only two remaining original windows should be
preserved.
