If our patio conforms to code, we
1.Risk structural integrity given the
closeness to the start of the slope
2.Incur significantly impactful costs to
change the topography of our plot
line to create stability with retaining
walls losing more trees
The area exists and we have space
before the slope starts closer to the
property line.

rear on the east side of the
property line closest to 42

As you move west on the
property the drop off
becomes closer to the
house and would require
retaining wall and truck
loads of dirt at a very high
expense to the homeowner
to not leverage the natural
shape of the land.
