NOTICE OF DECISION
In the matter of the application

involving Architectural review of exterior modifications to an existing structure within the Urban Core (UC/t-6) District.,
tax parcel # 165.51-3-18, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance, the
Design Review Board issues the following decision on October 15, 2025:
Approve the project with the following conditions:
Brick is to remain natural-no paint, limewash, etc.
Shutters are to be functional with appropriate hardware
Covered archway to be set back about 8” from corner of building
Final drawings for archway and hardware for shutters to be approved administratively
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit has been
issued and actual work begun.

As a result of this decision, the applicant:
may proceed with the proposed project as approved
