The Foundation found it difficult to review this application because there were no elevation drawings showing the size and placement of the proposed new window openings. Board of Directors The Queen Anne Free Classic style residence, c. 1914, is a contributing building to the Adam N.Favro National Register of Historic Places listed on the Union Avenue Historic District. President James Gold The Foundation does not object to the proposed copper roof for the front porch nor does Vice President it object to the proposed changes to the north facade because it is not a historic addition. Linda Harvey-Opileck Secretary The Foundation appreciates that the owner is retaining many of the original historic wood Dmitriy Yermolayev windows. It understands that for fire code reasons, the third floor windows must be Treasurer replaced with casement windows to allow for safe egress. Therefore, the Foundation Matthew Veitch does not object to the replacement of those windows. However, the Foundation Past President recommends that the replacement windows match the size and pane configuration of the existing windows. Caroline Cardone Giovanna D'Orazio Brennan Drake Due to the lack of elevation drawings the Foundation is unable to make fully informed Sandra Fox recommendations about the proposed changes to the east and west facades. At this time, Lizzn Haller the Foundation objects to the new window that is beingproposed on the first-storyof the Israel j p p Samantha Kercull east facade. The Foundation does not object to the removal of the stained glass windows Douglas Kerr of the one-story, non-historic addition. However,it remains concerned about the lack of Richard King Dorothy Rogers-Bullis window fenestration of that non-historic addition. Due to the lack of detailed information Cindy Spence about the size and location of the proposed new window at the second-story of the west facade, the Foundation currently objects to the addition of this window. However, if James Kettlewell additional information is provided the Foundation may change its position. emeritus Despite these concerns, the Foundation appreciates the investment that the owners are Executive Director making into their historic house.
