Comments Dear Design Review Board:
I am writing to express my concerns regarding the proposed
installation of cellular equipment on the utility pole located at
144 Spring Street. I am the owner of 147 Spring Street directly
across from the proposed site.
My primary concern is the placement of this equipment directly
in front of a residential home. This location faces three

bedrooms in my residence where three young children live. I
am deeply concerned about the potential health impacts
associated with prolonged exposure to this type of equipment
especially given its proximity to occupied living spaces.
In addition, considering the large number of utility poles
throughout Saratoga Springs, there appear to be many other
viable locations that could adequately meet technical needs
while minimizing potential health and other impacts on
residential properties.
I respectfully request that the City and the service provider
consider alternative locations for this equipment that would
address both community and safety concerns.
