NOTICE OF DECISION
In the matter of the application

involving Historic review of construction of a single-family home and detached two-car garage within the Urban
Residential - 3 (UR-3) District, tax parcel # 166.61-1-7.2, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance, the
Design Review Board issues the following decision on September 24, 2025:
Approve the project with the following conditions:
Plans approved WITHOUT a connector from the main structure to the garage, (awning over stairs approved)
smooth cement board without grain for siding, garage to be located 18’ from the rear property line.
Record of vote:
motion to approve made by R DuBoff, seconded by C Bennett : passed 5-0
In favor: TEhinger, CBennett, RDuBoff, G Wood, A Dockum
As a result of this decision, the applicant:
may proceed with the proposed project as approved
