In the matter of the application

involving Historic review of a roof replacement within the Urban Residential-3 (UR-3) District, tax parcel # 166.61-1-14,
within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance
Article 240-13.9 Architectural Review Applicability and Approval Standards, the Design Review Board issues the
following decision on October 15, 2025:
Approve the application as shown on the attached plans
Real slate on the main structure of the house, GAF asphalt on the two additions and side porch,
EPDM on flat-roofed rear addition
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit has been
issued and actual work begun.

as the original individual owner(s) of a single-family detached residence [or
eligible second owner(s)] owns the property where the qualifying GAF products
are installed. For other owners/structures, Lifetime coverage is not applicable.
