Good Morning Julia!
I made a visit to the site yesterday to determine the height of 172 Caroline Street yesterday and
measured the height of the existing home to be 30 feet above grade.
By comparison, our proposed home is approximately 39'-3" above grade.
The large brick apartment house at 156 Caroline Street is approximately 50 ft above grade.
As our proposed home is located between these two structures, we are approximately 9 ft higher than
172 Caroline, and approximately 13 ft less in height than 156 Caroline.
The height and scale of our proposed home compares very well to the homes across the street,
specifically, 161 and 173 Caroline. Also, 146 Caroline also compares very well. This home is adjacent to
the large apartment house at 156 Caroline.
I will share photos of all of the above at tonight's workshop!
