170 Caroline Street-Garage Relocation
Richard and Jodi Romero are in the process of purchasing 172 Caroline
Street.
We have reached an agreement with the Romero’s to move the garage back
to the property at 172 Caroline where it belongs.
Prior to the move, the we agreed to remove the side entry/porch and
attached shed. This will bring the building back to its original historic
structure. A partial demolition permit will be required and DRB approval for
that permit is requested.
The Romero’s are working with Larmon House Movers to safely move the
structure. DRB approval for the new foundation building permit will also be
requested separately by the Romero’s.
We are seeking approval of the garage relocation project to 172 Caroline
Street.
Finally, the we request approval of the house plans to allow us to move
forward with the building plans.
To recap, we are requesting DRB approval for the following:
• Approval of the house/garage plans.
• Demolition approval for removal of the rear shed and side entryway to
the existing garage.
• Approval of the relocation of the garage.
