NOTICE OF DECISION
In the matter of the application

involving Architectural review of wall mounted signage within the Neighborhood Center (NC) District, tax parcel #165.51-1-
38, within the City of Saratoga Springs.
In accordance with 6 NYCRR Part 617, the Design Review Board classifies this request as a SEQR:
Type II action – exempt from further SEQR review
And, in accordance with the objectives, standards and guidelines contained in the Unified Development Ordinance Article
240-13.9 Architectural Review Applicability and Approval Standards, the Design Review Board issues the following decision
on September 10, 2025:
Approve the application as submitted or shown on the attached plans
Note: this approval shall expire 18 months from the issuance date unless any necessary building permit has been issued
and actual work begun.

Julia,
Bonacio has enclosed the rear of the Beam where the Halo Lit letters are being installed . There will be a
small opening in the beam for the electrical to feed the lettering.. with no exposed wiring on the face of
the beam or facade.

Subject: 78 Church Signage - Question
Hey Susan,
We reviewed the signage for 78 Church st at our workshop this evening, and there was a question about
power.
These are halo lit letters being affixed to what seems to be a steel beam.
The question/concern the Board had was how the power would be run to illuminate the sign.
Please let me know by Friday. I have to take this off of the consent agenda for now. If the answer to the
question regarding power is acceptable to the Board, I can put it back on consent, but I will need to
know that by Friday so I can relay that info to the members, they can review and give their approval.
