Comments In regard to the proposed apartment building at 624 North
Broadway: the design is completely inappropriate for North
Broadway. The size of the building would make it stand out and
affect the "landscape" of the area even more. The building is
more appropriate for a street like Railroad Place - it looks
similar to the apartment buildings there. The designers should
design an apartment building that looks like a single family
residence, similar in materials and quality of the neighboring
buildings. North Broadway is a special street in Saratoga. It

should retain its beauty and architectural cohesiveness. It also
would be a shame to create a precedent for others to follow
both on that street and in other residential parts of the city.
