Project Address 624 North Broadway Comments We are residents of the "Northside" neighborhood and strongly oppose the proposed design for 624 North Broadway. North Broadway is one of Saratoga’s most historically and visually significant streets, and new construction must reflect that character. The current proposal does not. It repeats the mistake of the church by introducing a building out of place in Saratoga’s most important neighborhood. We support the concerns of the Preservation Foundation regarding setback, mass, garage placement, and inappropriate materials. A design with the appearance of a single-family residence, consistent with other new construction on North Broadway, would preserve the historic character and integrity of the street.
