Broadway Comments The current plans for a four-unit building at 624 N. Broadway in no way reflect nor respect the rich architectural character of this important historic district. Quite simply, the box-like building is inappropriate for North Broadway and is better suited for an area of the city like South Broadway or West Avenue. As the City's design guidelines published in the early 1990s state: "Articulated design distinguishes most North Broadway houses. . .
