Hi Julia,
This is in response to the Board’s questions at the 9/3 workshop meeting regarding the location
of the equipment shroud and whether the shroud can be elevated to be higher up on the pole.
Following the workshop meeting we reached out to others involved with the project and
confirmed that there is a clearance zone under the communications lines that needs to be
maintained, however for this particular pole there is space to move the equipment shroud up on
the pole to be 1 foot higher on the pole. Due to varying pole heights for other projects it may not
always be possible to relocate the equipment shrouds to be higher on the pole, but in this case
there is adequate space to move the shroud and comply with the required clearance zone.
Please see the attached revised plans and do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. My
direct line is 518-714-9299. See you tomorrow!
Best,
Julia
