HomeMy WebLinkAbout20250802 75 Weibel Ave Silver Cannabis Company NarrativeParking Request Letter To the Members of the Planning Board: I am writing on behalf of Silver Therapeutics to provide information on customer flow and on-site staffing at our retail dispensary and to request approval for additional parking capacity beyond the baseline required by the zoning ordinance. Our dispensary experiences steady traffic throughout the day with pronounced peaks. For example, we served 37 customers between 12:00 PM, with other hours ranging from 22 to 37 customers. We staff six (6) employees on site during business hours. While our typical shopping time is approximately twelve (12) minutes, during busy periods a short queue can develop. For parking-planning purposes, we are using twelve minutes per customer under normal conditions, and twenty minutes per customer during peak hours when queues occur. At our busiest hour (37 customers/hour), this equates to approximately 12.3 customer vehicles parked simultaneously. Including our 6 employee vehicles, the total peak parking demand is ~18.3 spaces. Providing 18 spaces will: - Prevent spillover parking on adjacent properties and public ways; - Maintain safe and orderly site circulation; and - Align capacity with documented peak customer volumes and staffing. Accordingly, we respectfully request the Board’s approval for 18 on-site parking spaces to ensure safe, efficient operations during peak periods. Thank you for your consideration.
