Attaching pictures of the measurements of the retaining wall and the fence from our adjacent'
neighbor's property.
The retaining wall is measuring 4' 8.5" and the fence 8 ft.

I hope this note finds you well. Please find a copy of our survey and 3 photos of the fence from our
neighbors' perspective.
Photos taken are:
Fence i - Facing Catherine Street and Route 50
Fence 2 - Southern border of the property, adjacent to Burke Funeral Home
Fence 3 - Southern border of the property. Red building on the right side of the picture is a
commercial business - Burke Funeral Home

Although the city does not require a building permit for fences, it is essential to adhere to the setback
and height regulations specified in Section 9.5.J concerning general requirements for fences and
walls. It is advisable to consult with the building department to ensure compliance with these
regulations.
Is there a plot plan and images available for the fence installation that illustrate its proximity to the
property line, as well as its height(s) and setback(s)? Please refer to Section 9.5.J. General fence &
wall requirements, in addition to Section 9.5.J.2. Height and setbacks regulations. This information
will aid in evaluating the necessary area variances for this request.
