Red building on the right side of the picture is a commercial business - Burke Funeral Home 9 Although the city does not require a building permit for fences, it is essential to adhere to the setback and height regulations specified in Section 9.5.J concerning general requirements for fences and walls. It is advisable to consult with the building department to ensure compliance with these regulations. Is there a plot plan and images available for the fence installation that illustrate its proximity to the property line, as well as its height(s) and setback(s)? Please refer to Section 9.5.J. General fence & wall requirements, in addition to Section 9.5.J.2. Height and setbacks regulations. This information will aid in evaluating the necessary area variances for this request. have included Richard Tiersch, the assigned Building Inspector to further assist you in regard to your pool permit.
