HomeMy WebLinkAbout20240682 25 New St Subdivision Project Update DOCUMENTATION & PLAN REVISONS August 18, 2025 1.0 Additional documentation submitted since last meeting 1.1 Habitat Study 1.2 Noise Study 1.3 Saratoga County Sewer District Correspondence 1.4 Draft NYSOGS Easement – Ingress/egress emergency access only and utility easement 1.5 Traffic Correspondence from TDE on plan sign off 1.6 Renderings of the proposed development from the following viewpoints: 1.6.1 Front porch facing east 1.6.2 Railroad Run facing east 1.6.3 Railroad Run facing south 2.0 Plan Revisions 2.1 Based on conversations with city officials a turnaround has been provided at the north end of the proposed roadway for both snowplows and fire emergency vehicles. The maintenance building was eliminated to accommodate turnaround. 2.2 The proposed watermain will be looped from New Street through the development to Aletta. The applicant is in the final stages of receiving the easement from NYSOGS. 2.3 The sewer main discharge has been revised as the southern portion of the site and will connect directly into the City sewer system therefore there is only one connection (in lieu of three previously shown) to the Saratoga County Sewer District interceptor in the rear along Railroad Run. 2.4 Revised the entrance into the development to address the site distance concern during the traffic review process. These revisions have been reviewed by the City’s 2.5 Traffic consultant and has found the revisions to be acceptable. 2.6 All driveway locations are now proposed off the new town road so the intermediate turnarounds have been eliminated. 2.7 Landscape plan has a continuous row of evergreens along the east property line adjacent to the Price Chopper Plaza. Also a row of trees and shrubs along the rear of the lots. 2.8 Reduced the width of the proposed roadway to eliminate the off-road parking. 2.9 Sidewalks were widened to 5 feet.
