Thanks. Susanna A. Combs Execuve Assistant Office of the Mayor From: Susie <smp164@yahoo.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2025 8:15 AM To: Public Comment <public.comment@saratoga-springs.org> Subject: The Finley   Caution: This is an external email and may have suspicious content or subject. Please take care when clicking links or opening attachments. When in doubt, contact IT. I am totally disappointed to read your letter regarding “our full support for the Rise” “Finley” project. Please look at the map of this area. Code Blue Shelter, PROPSED 125 BED County Code Blue Shelter, Low Barrier Homeless Shelter, Rise Headquarters, Saratoga County Mental Health Center, AIM residential home for disabilities, Shelters of Saratoga Office, Shelters of Saratoga Housing. This is an overconcentration of one area for one income group. Now you feel that a 71-unit Affordable Housing/Homeless Apartment building should be injected into this area as well. Do you even realize that on two sides of this three-story project are single family ranch style homes? These residents are going to have the value of their homes reduced dramatically. The low barrier homeless shelter on Adelphi was number 8 on last year’s Public Safety Report for frequent addresses for calls for service. Between this project and the proposed 125 code blue shelter we will soon be number 1. I hope the council will rethink their support of “The Finley”.
