Comments In this little section of the city we have a Code Blue Shelter,
proposed 125 Bed County Code Blue shelter, Low Barrier
Homeless Shelter, Rise Headquarters & the new Homebase: A
Day program for Homeless, Saratoga Mental Health, Shelters
of Saratoga Office, SOS Housing-9 supportive units for the
homeless and Finley Street is the truck crossover between Rte
9/50. Now a 71-unit Affordable Housing -The Finley, should be
injected into this area as well. This is over concentration, why

adversely affecting surrounding properties and putting an
isolation of income groups into one area. Rise has two other
Affordable Apt buildings: Dominic Hollow in Ballston Spa 60-
units with 18 units as Supportive Housing for individuals with
mental health/substance use concerns, 12 units as Transitional
Apartments for people with psychiatric disabilities & 30 units as
Affordable Housing for the general community. Riverview at
Corinth is 60 units with 30 units reserved for households
struggling with homelessness or mental illness. Last year the
Adelphi 24/7 Homeless shelter made the list as number 8 as
most frequent calls for service according to the Saratoga
Springs Safety Report, Woodlawn Parking Garage at number
1. I hope that you will take note, find out what this building is
and stop this madness in this community. On two sides of this
three-story project are single family ranch style homes, many
are elderly, they are not only scared, but they are also going to
have the value of their homes reduced dramatically. This 3-
story building requires 107 parking space, Rise is saying they
will only need 35 as the tenants will be taking public
transportation, that tells me a lot. Please be cautious of this
plan. Please think about the actual residents of this community.
